Anxiety is a normal part of our survival instinct which helps to keep us safe and respond in threatening situations. However, some children react more quickly and intensely and find it harder to get their anxious feelings under control.

Families can do a lot to support their children by working on coping and problem solving skills together.  Raising Children Network has put together a four-week webinar to support families to learn skills and strategies to manage anxiety.

If you have any concerns about mental health issues in your child, please contact the classroom teacher or Angela McLean (Wellbeing Coordinator).
