On Monday 11th  December, the Year 6 students celebrated their last days at St John’s with some special graduation events.

A lunch at Lipari Restaurant was enjoyed by the students and their teachers followed by a graduation evening in the School hall with their families.  The students and their teachers spent time decorating the hall for the evening, which looked fantastic!

Each student was presented to the audience and a brief history of their time at St John’s was shared by their class teacher.  Some Year 6 students had begun their journey at St John’s in Kindergarten.  It was lovely to hear their special memories of their time at St John’s. One of the evening’s highlights was the question – “What do the teachers talk about during Lunch and Recess?” The student responses were very creative and had the audience in hysterics.

The students performed a final song, accompanied by their fellow Year 6 musicians, and lovely a supper was enjoyed by everyone.

We wish all our graduating students all the best in the future in their transition to secondary education.
