Throughout Term 3, students from Year 5 and 6 compete against other schools in the Interschool Sports Competition.  This is always an exciting opportunity for our students and a great highlight of their year.  In the competition so far, we have competed against Christ the King Primary School, St Francis Xavier Primary School, Holy Family Primary School, Nazareth Primary School and St Mary’s Primary School.  The students play in teams across various sports including football, netball and softball and work throughout the term to develop their skills.

Interschool Sports are also a great opportunity to meet students from other schools, demonstrating good sportsmanship across all sports and activities.

A big thank you to all involved, especially Ryan Yockins and Steve Richardson who have assisted in the football umpiring.

Well done St John’s students!
