Lutheran Education has delivered excellent education in Geelong since 1962, firstly at St John’s Lutheran School and also now at Geelong Lutheran College in the new Armstrong Creek development at Mt Duneed. Lutheran Education in Geelong can now offer excellent education in a caring Christian environment from kindergarten through to secondary school.

 

Geelong Lutheran College will provide primary and secondary education from 2009 with years prep to 7 and will then add a level each year as the Yr 7 students progress through secondary school. The College will be closely linked to St John’s Lutheran School in Aberdeen St, Newtown which will continue to provide for Kindergarten to Year 6 students. Kindergarten is also offered at St Paul’s Lutheran Kindergarten, Grovedale.

 

Lutheran Education is the largest private education system outside of the Catholic Education system, providing for over 30,000 students across Australia. Mr Gary Jewson has been appointed as Principal of the College and will ensure that curriculum planning, staff selection and construction proceed effectively so the College will be well prepared for its 2009 opening.
