Our students have been very busy in their Art classes, creating portraits for the Geelong Gallery Who’s Who portrait prize.  The student prize coincides with the Geelong Gallery’s presentation of the Art Gallery of New South Wales’ Archibald Prize 2017 and marks Jules Francois Archibald’s connection to Geelong and aims to encourage and inspire young artists to celebrate local or regional identities, their personal histories and achievements.

The Who’s who portrait prize finalists and winners will be announced on Friday 13th October. We think our students have some fantastic entries featuring famous Geelong identities!
