Lutheran Education has delivered excellent education in Geelong since 1962, firstly at St. John’s Lutheran School and also now at Geelong Lutheran College in the new Armstrong Creek development at Mt. Duneed. Lutheran Education in Geelong can now offer excellent education in a caring Christian environment from kindergarten through to secondary school.

 

In 2009 Geelong Lutheran College opened its doors, and offered primary and secondary education from years prep to 7. Each subsequent year, the College adds another year level, and by 2014 Geelong Lutheran College will offer year prep to year 12. The College will be closely linked to St. John’s Lutheran School in Aberdeen St., Newtown which will continue to provide for Kindergarten to Year 6 students. Kindergarten is also offered at St. Paul’s Lutheran Kindergarten, Grovedale.

 

Lutheran Education is the largest private education system outside of the Catholic Education system, providing for over 30,000 students across Australia. Mr. Gary Jewson has been appointed Principal of the College and continues to ensure that curriculum planning, staff selection and construction proceed effectively.
